Bring on the Rain

Well, tomorrow is officially the last day of 2008. It has been an eventful year, filled with many good things and many challenges as well. Chris and I are glad the snow has melted and are ready to get back to work! I am enjoying the continuous rain that is washing the slush out of our driveway. We had a fun Christmas but did not get to see a lot of the family that we usually do. Nonetheless, it was a good Christmas and we have much to be thankful for. I had fun spending time with my mom on Christmas morning.

I am looking forward School starting back up again in 1 week and getting closer to graduating. This term I will be studying Student Involved Assessment, The Learning Community (Differentiated Learning) and Children's Literature ( My favorite). It is going to be a busy term, but welcomed. I hope to continue my volunteering with the I Have a Dream Foundation at Rigler Elementary. I am hoping to get some pictures of the last few weeks I spent there. I will post those if I can track them down!

While I am continually learning and practicing living in the present, I do like to remember the pleasant things in life that I am looking forward to, and the things I am currently enjoying.

Right now I am most looking forward too. . .
-Chris' 24th birthday on January 19th
-Spending more time with Isa (our new dog)
-Our Cohort girlfriend's trip to Mazatlan in April ( God Willing)!

Chris and Isa:

My Current Favorite Things . . . .
My New Digital Camera from Mom. Hooray! It is a purple piece of joy! AND My new Brown Boots, I feel like a modern day Pocahontas. OK so I know I sound materialistic. But a girl just loves her things sometimes.
